Barrio Lopez: The Anointed One

Barrio Lopez--the soon to be anointed one--keeps getting stranger and stranger everyday. Barrio--in my estimation--has become a modern day Thomas Jerome Newton; it makes you wonder if this man is a native of planet earth. If this dolt gets elected, the futurities are hard to imagine.
With all of his gaffes aside, there are numerous issues one must take into account to
truly psychoanalyze Mr. Barrio Lopez.
After examining the speech he gave at Wesleyan, I thought to myself that
this guy is full of himself. The Audacity to tell everyone that collectivism is
the secret to alleviating all ills in society is just plain silly. I myself
cannot depend on my neighbor to water my flowers when I am away on vacation.
Can I truly expect him to teach inner-city kids to love supply side economics
and global warming? Also, the evils he associated to "our money
culture" was ultimately ungrateful and borderline hypocritical. What is
more mind-boggling than anything is his disdain for the designer suit. If it
was not for the designer suit, charlatans like Barrio would have difficulties
finding a decent paying or high profile job. Could one imagine Barrio getting
elected for office or hired at a prestigious law firm wearing a patchouli
drenched hemp hoodie and matching short shorts? Heck, I wonder if Barrio feels
bitterness towards Bruno Magli Wingtips? I always was under the impression that
Barrio was a fan of Saks and Lord and Taylor--this indefinitely is a revelation to
me.
I do not have anything against the man, but who ever convinced him to
run for president needs a talking to; Barrio is not ready to take the reins of
the free world while the rest of us are held as the blindfolded
hostage/passenger.

Barry Obama and the Terrible Twos...

Looks like Barr-io was out and about yesterday. Apparently, he talked to a few folks in Boca. He --no surprise to us all--talked about the need for socialism. He sees socialism--for some reason--as a device to elucidate all of the world's inequities. Barry, socialism has never been successful on large scale; it leads to societal and moral decay. Barry, if you want to improve the world, you should stop your pandering. Barry, people see through your transparency; they see you as a charlatan, a phony. When you talk about mongering--hate, fear, and now rumor--you sound like a little girl who has just been denied a second glass of milk. Barry, you probably are a decent dude--I might even want to have an ice cream cone with you. However, your pandering needs to stop--and yes you pander more than Marmaduke and young Billy Winslow. But hey, Barry, atleast you are not the governor of the great state of Illinois.
